Winter on the Great Barrier Reef

This week we been feeling the temperature slowly dropping at our beautiful office, the Great Barrier Reef. The water temperature has been around 25 degrees! This doesn’t mean that the ‘cold’ waters are stopping us from coming out everyday; the sun is keeping us warm and the visibility has been fantastic.

We have hardly seen any rain and the trips out to the Reef and the wind has been between 15 and 20 knots. These great conditions are giving us photo enthusiasts us fantastic clear images.

This temperature also brings about our favorite time of the year, humpback whale season. They are around and have been putting on an amazing show for the last few days. I hope you like my photos 🙂
